The pupils from STAR One Day School programme based in Alexandra New Zealand is aimed at the gifted children (11,12 & 13 years old), have spent there term working on a project "The true Meaning of life is to plant a tree under whose shade you do not expect to sit". There teacher suggested the Fairtrade Programme.
The pupils have been pitching the Fairtrade concept to local retailers and businesses. They will also be making their presentation later this month to help push their idea of Alexandra becoming a Fairtrade Town.
